The Research & Development labs at MBA Fakhro are the engines that create the products and services that form the basis for many of our new businesses in IT, Life Sciences, and Manufacturing. We aspire to create successes on a scale similar to what the R&D teams at Edison Labs, 3M, and Alphabet have done, and to monetize those inventions as successfully as they have done.
We work on our R&D efforts, out of our offices in (alphabetically) Bahrain, Bengaluru, Kerala, Shenzhen, and Silicon Valley. We all collaborate on our cloud and in our labs, to look for answers to problems in the fields of Material Sciences, Medicine, Electronics, Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, FoodTech, Bioinformatics, Genomics, 5G, 3D Printing, Augmented Reality, and Clean Energy. We are a team of great pioneers, creative thinkers, and engineers, with a deep desire to participate in the process of changing the world positively, one invention, one innovation, and one award-winning product at a time.
We create award-winning software, hardware, and medicinal products, that each form the bedrock for the new companies that we create. We create environmental solutions to help to save the planet, medicinal products to save lives, and technology products to improve productivity, efficiency, and standards of living. We do this under three primary lab groups, namely, Voyager Labs, Discovery Labs, and Curiosity Labs, which are wholly owned by MBA Fakhro. Below is a description of some of the great work we are working on at our labs:
Voyager Labs: Focused on inventions and innovations in the information technology field
Voyager Labs aims to change the world through software. Some of the successes of the R&D efforts of Voyager Labs include award-winning products like Artify360, an AI-powered HR and payroll-focused product sold around the world, Clicks, a metaverse social media network focused on India, Dukakeen, an AI-powered e-commerce marketplace focused on the Middle East, NotArranged, a dating and marriage metaverse app focused on the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia (MEASA) market, and MyFoodMyWay, a food delivery location-based service app focused on home-cooked food.
Curiosity Labs: Focused on inventions and innovations in the manufacturing field
Curiosity Labs aims to improve lives through manufacturing. Its areas of focus include unmanned aerial vehicle and human jetpack technology to fall under a company to be called Nellford Aerospace, smart glasses to fall under a company to be named Odessey, and printed circuit board design, assembly, and manufacturing under a company called Confluence Circuits, among other ventures.
Discovery Labs: Focused on inventions and innovations in the life sciences field
Discovery Labs aims to extend human and other animal life through science. One product, named Genenica, is a gene discovery product that aims to help humans discover their predisposition to illnesses and to take remedial measures early. Another effort at the R&D stage, named Splice, encompasses its efforts to develop DNA-based memory chips. This involves data storage on synthetic DNA to allow for data to be stored on much smaller surfaces and in a way that can last much longer. Another, named Nu, aims to create 3D printers to manufacture body parts, while another, Clever Meats, aims to manufacture meat in labs to allow humans to enjoy meat without killing other animals. Discovery Labs’ pipeline of upcoming products includes cancer treatment products to fall under a new company to be called C3.
